Twice Profit Than Before

Case study focus: performance marketing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), paid advertising and ecommerce profitability.
Note: “Twice Profit Than Before” is the legacy title of this ClickTN case study. Client-identifying information and confidential financial figures are not published. The page therefore focuses on the strategy, testing logic and optimization process rather than presenting unsupported numerical claims.
When More Traffic Is Not Enough
For an ecommerce business, increasing visits does not automatically create profitable growth. A campaign can generate clicks while losing money through weak landing pages, poor offer presentation, an inefficient checkout or budget allocation that favors volume instead of conversion quality.
This project centered on a different question: how can paid traffic and the conversion journey be improved together so that more of the existing demand becomes revenue? ClickTN treated advertising and on-site conversion as one connected system rather than two separate activities.
The Business Challenge
The starting point was an ecommerce journey where performance depended on several linked decisions: who saw the ads, what promise the creative made, where visitors landed, how the offer was presented and how easily a customer could complete the purchase.
Instead of assuming that one part of the funnel was responsible for weak results, the project used the full path from ad impression → landing page → product consideration → checkout → purchase as the unit of analysis.
Our Performance Marketing Approach
1. Establish a measurable baseline
Before changing campaigns, the work focused on the metrics that connect spend to commercial outcomes: conversion rate, cost per acquisition, return on ad spend, landing-page behavior and revenue generated by different campaign segments.
2. Improve the conversion path
Paid traffic only performs as well as the page receiving it. The optimization process reviewed landing-page structure, offer visibility, product communication, pricing presentation, trust elements and checkout friction. The objective was not to redesign everything at once, but to identify the changes most likely to remove avoidable drop-offs.
3. Test offers, messages and creative
Creative testing was treated as a business experiment. Different value propositions, audience angles and promotional messages could be compared instead of relying on assumptions about what customers would prefer.
4. Reallocate budget using evidence
Campaigns were evaluated according to conversion quality, not simply the amount of traffic they generated. Budgets could be shifted toward combinations of audience, creative and placement that demonstrated stronger commercial signals, while weaker variations were reduced or paused.

The Role of CRO in Paid Advertising
Conversion rate optimization is often discussed as a website activity, while paid advertising is treated as a media-buying activity. In practice, the two influence each other. A more relevant advertisement can produce a more qualified visitor; a clearer landing page can turn that visitor into a buyer; and better conversion data can then improve campaign decisions.
That feedback loop was central to this project. Instead of trying to “fix the ads” in isolation, ClickTN looked for the highest-friction point across the complete customer journey.
What the Project Demonstrates
- Traffic quality matters more than traffic volume: acquisition should be evaluated against the action that matters to the business.
- CRO and advertising should share the same objective: both should support profitable customer acquisition.
- Testing creates better decisions: controlled comparisons are more reliable than changing several variables without a clear baseline.
- Budget efficiency is continuous: performance marketing requires repeated review as audiences, offers and creative fatigue change.
Outcome & Reporting Approach
The engagement was designed around improving the relationship between advertising spend and conversion performance. Because detailed client analytics are confidential, ClickTN does not publish private revenue, spend or account-level figures on this page.
The value of the case study is therefore in the documented methodology: connect media buying with onsite behavior, test the conversion path, retain what works and make budget decisions from evidence.
Why This Case Study Matters
The strongest ecommerce growth opportunities are not always found by buying more traffic. Sometimes the bigger opportunity is to make better use of the visitors a business is already paying to acquire. That requires a disciplined combination of paid media, CRO, creative testing and commercial measurement.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the main lesson from this case study?
Paid advertising becomes more effective when the landing page, offer and checkout experience are optimized alongside the campaigns.
Which metrics are relevant to ecommerce performance marketing?
Conversion rate, cost per acquisition, return on ad spend, revenue and the quality of the customer journey are more useful than reach or clicks alone.
Does ClickTN publish confidential client revenue figures?
No. Where client-level analytics are private, ClickTN describes the strategy and optimization process without inventing or exposing unsupported figures.
